- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 February 2017If you think modern law is all man made, this book will make you think again. To many people law is a mysterious and complex topic, yet it underpins virtually every aspect of modern society. This book explains in simple layman terms what underpins the common law, oaths and private contracts. In a time of religious and biblical skepticism it is often forgotten this is where traditionally the authority of the law is derived from. Thought provoking recommended read.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 October 2017Great advice, and informative; but what chance of any official honouring their commitment? I would advise only invoking one's Common Law rights in desperation, and not provoking providence! -- As for Shayler being the Messiah! 😮
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2017Recommend this book to anyone who wants to find true freedom from the oppressive, tyrannical slave regime falsely described as Democracy.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 February 2017Brilliant well researched book that everyone should read! Should be taught in schools well put together easy read
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2017Brilliant read
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2017Can't rate highly enough, maritime law is dead and Common Law is the future for a society that has a conscience. Tried and tested, recommended!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 January 2017This is a book about Christianity pretending to be a book about law. Then again it is about Christian law just not much else. In fact once you take all the religious stuff away, you're left with a few copy and paste paragraphs taken from various dictionaries. David Shayler went through some kind of spiritual awakening. An alternative fact would be to say that David Shayler found a new career path. He's embraced this fully and is happy to announce that 'That shalt not commit adultery' is misunderstood and people can shag as much as they like. Christians around the world will be delighted no doubt.
There is nothing original here, nothing of interest to anyone other than a Christian. It's a mish mash of the Common Law stuff we've all seen elsewhere and lots and lots of bible quotes. In fact I don't think this book was so much written as copied and pasted. Don't waste your money. I got this free as part of Kindle Unlimited and I'm glad I didn't pay a penny for it.
