    Tera Kincaid, a teacher helping to find Katerian and Kiljorn foster parents for human children meets Warrior CrisOf at dinner party. Both of them are unused to speaking with strangers, but find talking to each other easier. They meet again, the following day for a picnic. Not knowing that they are being watched by others.

    Tera wanting to relive her time with CrisOf, is surprised by two men, who demand to know what CrisOf has gone and what information she has been given. Even after denying that she knows nothing about CrisOf's orders.

    Meanwhile, CrisOf and his team have been sent to search for the location of any secret training base held by the rebels. After finding the camp and seeing Tera brought in for interrogation, he rescues her, frees the men held with her, before trying to escape. Then, Tera rescues him, by using an oar to strike their attacker, before getting them in the boat and away.

    Facing suspicion from CrisOf's team, being left behind with a medic and a guard, while warriors head in to break up the camp. Caught for a second time by the rebel leader, getting into a shuttle, which is then fired on, before finally getting a knife in the back while protecting CrisOf. Of course, there is a happy ending, together with a reunion with her family. Another gripping story which I couldn't put down until it was finished. Fantastic!!!!

    This is the latest book in the Katieran Prime series. The reason for my rating is that although the story is up to the normal standard that I have comes to expect, the editing was terrible. Every time I thought I was getting into it, another mistake would jump out, and had me having to re-read that bit. 😤 I was really looking forward to this book and had my day cleared and my favourite snacks and drinks ready for the download, then it was here ☺ As I said the storyline was up to the normal standard, just not the editing😞
