What the….? *looks around crazily*
I’m about to channel my inner John McEnroe, but you cannot be serious? You can’t leave me like that – I need book 2 NOW! *whimpers*
My heart is aching. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I started this book, but I was gripped from the very beginning right to the very last page. A cliffy no less *wails*
If it wasn’t for a pesky thing called work I would have devoured this book in one sitting, but alas I need to make pennies for more books *snorts* Needless to say, I was like a cat on a hot tin roof all day dying to get home to finish it.
I loved Oliver and Abbygail. I admit – I wanted to knock some sense into them on more than one occasion and ranted and raved as if they were in the same room as me. Note to self: this is not a story to read in public *shrugs*
I didn’t know what end was up most of the time – the feels in this book are epic!
“Because I felt you. I can always feel you.”
A truly stunning debut that packs an emotional whammy. Now, who do I need to bribe to get my hands on book 2? *smirks*
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2016Abbigail and Oliver are best friends, and have been pretty much all their life. But when they are 15, and both discovering their feeling have grown into love, disaster strikes, changing their relationship and lives forever.
I am not sure what I was expecting with this book, but this wasn’t it, and that’s not a bad thing, it went in a direction I wasn’t expecting. This book is about the beginning of two people falling in love and how unexpected events can rip everything apart. At times I wanted to bang their heads together, but then I remembered I was reading about 15/16 year olds. I think the way they behaved is pretty much true to life. I do think that maybe their parents and the adults in their lives could have maybe guided them better at times though.
By the end of this book it had spanned about 6 years and I liked that. The way it ended had me wanting more and I really can’t wait to see where the next instalment is going.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2019So this was recommended by one of my favourite authors and at first when I read the synopsis I thought.... it wasn't really my type of book, how wrong i was!! This book is so emotional, I read most of this with a lump in my throat trying not to cry...the story of a boy and girl...growing together loving each other unconditionally until life pulls them apart and the consequences of that split....the heartbreak both characters go through is so relatable and breath taking as well as frustrating. Can't wait for book 2, because I need to see their story through and I'm praying they get their HEA that they deserve.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 April 2017What a fantastic emotional rollercoaster of a story about love and friendship - this book will consume you and leave you begging for more.
Abby and Oliver have been best friends since early childhood, spending every waking minute together...........until circumstances change and suddenly they are no longer a part of each others lives.
This story has all the feels, you will laugh, you will cry, you will shout and want to shake some sense into the characters, you will feel the turmoil surrounding them, Aimee Noalane will take your heart and stamp on it!!
This is one amazing story, I absolutely loved it - it is so well written and I'm so glad I discovered this author - I can't wait for the next book!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 September 2017I have no idea why it has taken me so long to read this book! I have been missing out. I could not put this book down, needless to say since the story is incomplete until you've read the whole series I just had to buy them all! Not a penny wasted, it was fantastic! Yes, you will cry your eyes raw and yes you will have a screaming match with your inner turmoil and frustration during this read, but it will leave an imprint on your heart for a long time. This story just makes you realise how much people are missing out on due to assumption, half trues, creative lies, low self-worth, self-hatred and blame. Does love truly prevail?
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 May 2017Abby and Oliver. Best friends since they were born and inseperable since. That is until both their hearts are broken following the death of Olivers Dad. To stop his life spinning out of control, Oliver needed to get away from the constant reminders. It wounded them both like you wouldnt believe. It was utterly heartbreaking.
The pair were not just best friends, they were in love with one another. It was utterly heartbreaking to see those feelings bottled up.
6 years later and Oliver is back. Eek! I am soo desperate for this to happen!!!
Absolutely love/in love with this book

5.0 out of 5 stars Complete torture for you heart!! Get your tissues and get ready to throw your kindle!!
*Before you dig in, here's some suggestions:
-Clear your schedule
-Wrap your kindle in bubblewrap so it isn't damaged when you throw it
-Wear a helmet so when you bang your head against a wall, you don't knock yourself out
-Grab a box of tissues
-Tell your family you are out of commission for awhile
Once you do all that, you will be prepared to be sucked in and binge away on these three books!!
Abby and Oliver made my heart nearly explode, I yelled at them, I became so frustrated with their constant mess ups, but I fell in love with them both anyway. The relationship was deep, their connection seemed like it couldn't be severed, but boy, oh boy, did they come close. Riddled with mistakes, misunderstandings, youthful inexperience, and just plain character flaws, these two brought the pain on each other like not many other stories I've experienced. I was lost, and engrossed, and held captive....An absolute MUST READ for angsty, heartbreaking, toss your kindle around like a ragdoll, emotional roller coaster reads!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Review for all Three books in the No Regrets Series....
This review Is for all Three books in the No Regrets Series by Aimee Noalane
When I started this series I had never read anything by this author, so I went and read some of the reviews and I was excited to see the high ratings. Not sure about anyone else, but for me I like to read the reviews sometime beforehand, just because I need to know If the FMC is some what strong or I just can’t move forward. I didn’t see anything about doormat, weak or even pathetic heroine, so I was like
“ let’s do this”
Book One ~ 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I started No regrets I was automatically drawn in by Aimee Noalane writing style.
Abby and Oliver story starts when they’re eight years old and are best friends, and from there is how their love story begins. My emotions were all over the place while reading this book. Frustration being number one emotion...Yes both characters were frustrating, immature and had a whole lotta drama going on, but what teenager life isn’t at that age. I personally think Aimee did a wonderful job showing us their maturity level in this book. This definitely had an NA/YA feel to it. It suck me in that’s for sure, making me want more…
There were a few things that didn’t make sense tho in this book to me. For instance why they had recess in high school or shared lockers? Why didn’t Oliver or Abby call or text each other throughout the years? and why did it feel like Abby was doing all of the work in there friendship?
Other than that I really didn’t have too many complaints about this book and enjoyed it Very much.
Book Two ~ 3.5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
So moving on to book 2 Living With Regrets. I did not like this book as much as book 1 and before I give you my reasons, let me tell you this first, I can handle ow/om drama as long as it’s both sided. Aimee did do this, however, she gave us explicit details with Olivers ow then she did with Abbys om and when I say explicit details I’m talking about Sex….lol
For instance there is a chapter where Oliver and ow are outside doing the nasty, which I normally don’t have Issues with, but……not only was Abby there at the club with him, but she was also in town visiting Oliver when he did what he did and technically they weren’t a couple, but come on… they’ve been in love with each other for years and for him to do what he did while she was there just wasn’t cool, and was disrespectful in every-way, but that was Oliver m.o. when he got angry with Abby he’d jump in bed with another women.
Ok cool… I’m good with getting the explicit details on that incident, but what I’m not cool with was we didn’t even get the explicit details when Abby lost her virginity by Damian in the first book!
If you’re going to give us details on the H sex scenes then please do the same for the h… plus I didn’t like the fact Abby was so forgiving with what happened….yea…nope, sorry….I think anyone in their right mind would not get over that so easily or justify that being OK..
This book was more frustrating than the first book, because now they are 23 years of age, but there both still acting as if they are 16. I really didn’t see any character growth in this book and that to me is disappointing, maybe Oliver a little bit, but definitely not Abby, she was still immature in so many ways.. If you are going to add years to a story then you better give your readers some growth with there age and there just wasn’t any In this book.
The Back-and-forth was beyond nerve-racking and starting to annoyed me. I lost count on how many times I wanted to slap Abby, heck I could’ve slapped Oliver many times too. His alpha attitude/cowardice gave me whiplash.
There was just so many things In this book that were unrealistic to me. Including the time where Abby gets attacked. It was a little far-fetched or how Oliver and Abby both became best friends with other people that again were the opposite sex..really? And For the love of God how many best friends does Abby have? 🙄 Eye roll
I’m sorry I thought this story supposed to be about Abby and Oliver being best friends?
If I never hear best friend again, it will not be soon enough. That word was so abuse in this series..
And seriously what kind of friend was Stephen to Oliver anyway? Technically him and Oliver were best friends first, but some how when Oliver asked him to look after Abby when he moved, Stephens loyalty to Oliver went out the window.. Not even sure how that would even happen to begin with… again 🙄 eye roll…
However, this book did started getting a little more spicier between Abby and Oliver, showing us the chemistry between them both. I loved flirting between both of them. It was steamy and hot!
Plus the author gave her readers some lite humor in this book, which was a good change from the first book. It still was emotional and full of angst, but some chapters had some fun banters going on in them which I enjoyed.
Book Three ~ 3 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lastly book 3 Transcending Regrets… which was probably my least book I liked. So I’ll make this quick…
Why? Because I had so many doubts and questions in this book and I just didn’t feel I got the answers to them or the outcome I was looking for. One being…Abby finding out she was pregnant. I kinda felt like they only reason Oliver and her ended up together was because she was pregnant. I would’ve like to see Oliver and Abby get together not because of an unplanned pregnancy. I wanted to see Oliver and Abby work on their issues without adding a baby to the mix. I’m not a huge fan of the h getting pregnant In stories like these, especially when they’re young. I feel the author could’ve went in a different direction with this story without Abby getting pregnant. I mean come on first time they have sex and on birth control she gets pregnant. That’s original! Eye roll 🙄
Anyhow, Did Abby love Damian at one point? because I definitely got that Vibe she did, but I also was getting weird vibes on how she felt for Tyler and Stephen too…like why was she getting jealous feelings? 🤨
Plus at this point in the series the back-and-forth was getting old. It was just the same ole same ole in every Chapter…Abby never grew up in my opinion. They both were cowards when It came to telling the truth on how they felt about each other. Oliver still gave up so easily on their relationship.. so much that he was leaving her again in the last chapter, but something happen for him to turn around and head back. Oliver never did any groveling in my opinion it was always Abby. And the most disappointing part of this book was, when Abby finally ended up saying “ I Love You” to Oliver it was in a ridiculous situation…again more eye rolling 🙄
So needless to say this book just didn’t deliver for me.
Positive things I liked tho…..
I loved how strong Abby was.
Oliver was sexy as sin.
The flirting between Oliver and Abby was smokin hot
Oliver and Abby love story was beautiful
I enjoyed the other characters

4.0 out of 5 stars Highly dramatic and emotional read
Oliver and Abby have been friends for forever but what happens when those feelings change? What happens when you want more? Following a tragic event their world changes and nothing is the same anymore. Highly dramatic and emotional read that will keep you glued to the pages.
