    Ich habe den Rand Mcnally seit 1974 in unterschiedlichen Ausgaben, je nachdem, wann man in den USA war. Auf meinen Wegen auch auf den kleinsten, unbedeutenden Straßen als auch in den Großstädten habe ich NIEMALS Probleme gehabt. Vorraussetzung ist allerdings, dass man in der Lage ist, Karten zu lesen und sich entsprechend zu orientieren. So wie ein Navi, der einen sowieso nicht selten in die Irre führt, ist dieses Kartenwerk nicht, deckt aber trotz nicht unangenehmen Umfangs die geesamten USA ab!

    Acheté en complément de mon GPS de téléphone pour mon road trip américain (sur les conseils de voyageurs expérimentés), j'ai commandé cet atlas. Je l'ai peu utilisé sur place car le GPS et ma préparation en amont ont toujours suffi à nous guider, mais il était toujours sur mes genoux pour confirmer l'itinéraire. Il nous a même permit de choisir entre 2 routes dont l'une était une scenic Drive (donc beaucoup plus agréable) ou de faire une pause sur un site intéressant (notifié sur la carte) plutôt qu'au hasard. Une fois rentrée, il me sert à planifier mon prochain road trip en choisissant le meilleure itinéraire via les scenic drive et/ou les sites intéressants, ce que ne fait pas google maps !
