About the author

CS Duffy wrote scripts for film and TV for over a decade, and when that made her so bitter she caught herself cycling past the office of a production company giving it the finger, she quit the film industry and went to teach preschool in Stockholm. During the kids’ naps she wrote Life is Swede, a thriller in the form of a blog, which led her into the wonderful world of self publishing. The final book in her first series Glasgow Kiss was released in January 2019, and she is currently working on the Hollywoodland series, which will launch in May 2019.
In addition to her own books, her supernatural thriller The Stranger is currently running on Storytel, her thriller feature Guilty is in pre production in Canada and she once worked on an oil refinery. She was selected as a Spotlight author at Bloody Scotland in 2018.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2019If you've read Episodes One and Two, Three does not disappoint! What I liked was the further exploration of characters we've come to know throughout the series, which sheds light on their motivations and actions. Episode Three continues to capture the Glaswegian dialect well, whilst still being accessible for non-native speakers. A fantastic addition to the series and Tartan Noir in
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2018As a trilogy this book should and does (to a certain extent) explain and Cara, finally, with help from Ruari and Greer finds out who has been behind everything that has happened but not the end as we learn that yet another cliff hanger on the last page means that Alec is still pulling the strings!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2018Fantastic. Absolutely delighted to have stumbled upon this great trilogy set in my home town. Great writer, great story, i'm hooked!
You can really feel Glasgow humour throughout the book. The writer is sharp and funny, and writes beautifully, and sometimes takes you to some dark places. I won't pretend the frequent cliff hangers are not driving me crazy, but its more than worth it and i'm more than happy to keep reading! Can't wait for the next installment!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 May 2018....continue to beguile the reader. Just when you think you’ve worked out what is going on, something else happens. The characters are well rounded and believable and there is the ever present wry humour to lighten the suspense. Near the beginning, a main protagonist is in a tense situation but manages to reflect that ‘she wished she came from a less jaggy country’ during an encounter with some thistles. Pure magic. I had assumed this was the last in the trilogy, but it definitely isn’t the end. Do yourself a favour and have a great read.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2018After reading all 3 books my mind is exhausted. Solving riddles and dealing with the internet are all part of police work I realise that but this last book has got me thinking I have missed something. One more complication that I didn't compute. Still will be waiting for book 4 to continue with the saga.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 June 2018Just loved this trilogy of books although strictly speaking it's not really a trilogy as it has at least one more book left to finish the story. I hope it doesn't become a never-ending saga of books where it never ends. Love the characters and would be very happy to read about them but with a new case unrelated to the present one. There's only so far to spin this existing story. I felt a bit cheated that it didn't end at the third book and I hope it doesn't become too unbelievable as the ending suggested.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2019Just finished episode there and I love th e cliff hanger it's left for episode for. Great story .. Brilliant characters ! Would make due a veil TV series
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 August 2019Episode Three done and dusted. I'm glad of the hot weather as I have the perfect excuse for spending a couple of days with this continuing tale. Each episode has been well constructed and written. Now Episode Four.
