    Hot Single Dad by Claire Kingsley was the final book in the Book Boyfriends Series.

    The story focuses on Caleb, a surgeon and a single dad who’s wife died leaving him with sole care of his adorable daughter.
    In enters Linnea who is a few years younger then him, technically his sister in law, and the new Nanny.

    I loved the glimpses I got of Caleb and Charlotte in both previous books, so was really looking forward to them getting their own HEA. I did feel a bit weird about the fact that their ending would be with his dead ex wife’s sister, but actually on reading the book, it didn’t weird me out as much as I expected. I think they were different enough, and the history added a certain element to the story that did actually surprisingly work for me especially towards the end.

    It is a slow burn, perhaps slower then I enjoy normally and whilst I love Caleb, he comes across as such a lovely, caring man and dad.. I actually found myself chuckling more when Weston from Book 2 was making his appearances in this book! It isn’t that I didn’t connect as well with Caleb and Linea, but I just think that Weston stole the show for me a fair bit.. don’t get me wrong I loved that.. but I found it a little strange as to why Caleb wasn’t stealing the show quite as much for me. Overall I highlighted fewer passages within this book.

    It really was a sweet book though, I enjoyed it and really loved the series overall. This one also gave a brilliant bonus chapter (another little nod to Weston) which I profusely enjoyed too! I recommend reading this as part of the series for sure.. it ties together the three books perfectly.

    The final in the Book Boyfriend series and here we had the Single Dad and Hot Nanny trope. Caleb is an emergency room surgeon and single dad to Charlotte (Bug) a painfully shy 6year old. His late wife’s parents decide to send their youngest daughter Linnea to be his live in nanny, while she waits for her dream job as a pianist in any prestigious symphony orchestra. We get lots of Mia and Alex (she’s still as clumsy), Kendra and Weston(yep he’s still a pain) and Ken the dad in this sweet love story. I liked the way CK brings her stories together, her stand alone as often link characters from other stories, even without direct links. Seems l need to check out another series where Charlotte (Bug) has grown up and finding her HEA. If only to see where all these lovers are in the future, l am off to download. Enjoy.

    Auch Band 3 ist ein absolutes Jahreshighlight. Diese gesamte Trilogie MUSS man gelesen haben!

    Caleb kennt man bereits aus Band 1 und 2 und ich habe mich sehr auf seine Geschichte gefreut und darauf, dass er eine Partnerin und für seine Tochter "Bug" eine Mutter finden wird, nachdem seine Frau vor Jahren bei einem Autounfall starb.
    Die Geschichte zwischen Caleb und Linnea ist unkonventionell und sie nicht nur deutlich jünger, sondern auch die kleine Schwester seiner verstorbenen Frau. Beide wehren sich zunächst gegen ihre Gefühle, doch halten dies nicht lange durch. Und da die Tochter Linnea liebt, passen alle drei einfach zusammen.
    Zwischenzeitlich gibt es reichlich Drama und Herzschmerz, was mir einige Tränen entlockte. Linnea muss hart kämpfen, um ihren Weg in noch recht jungen Jahren zu finden. Doch sobald sie sich darüber klar wird, was sie in ihrem Leben wirklich will, fügt sich alles. Alle Puzzleteile fallen an ihren Platz und es gibt ein mehr als verdientes Happy End.
    Ich war beim Lesen sehr gerührt, fand die Charaktere wie immer authentisch und liebenswert. Das Erzähltempo ist sehr angenehm – weder zu langsam noch schnell. Auch der lebensnahe Schreibstil sorgte dafür, dass ich das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen konnte.
    Diese gesamte Trilogie ist für mich ein einziges riesiges Jahreshighlight. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen und werde sie irgendwann sicherlich noch ein Mal lesen.

    There is a lot to like in this story. We get glimpses of Caleb and Charlotte in the other siblings stories - Book Boyfriend and Cocky Roommate - but Caleb comes alive in this story. He is written in such a way that he seems like he could be your best friend or a trusted Dr. He is a patient and caring father and always has his daughter's happiness and well being at the forefront of his mind. Charlotte's character, although not front and centre all the time, is developed very nicely and we are given a glimpse into the girl and woman she will become. Linnea's character goes through the biggest change and I liked to read her epiphany moment. She was still the same person at the core but she was able to discover some personal truths and discover what will make her happy. She was well written and her actions remain consistent with her personality.

    If I had to make a negative comment it would have to be about the length of the story. It only took me a few hours to read this story and I would have liked it to be longer. However, I can't actually think of anything I would have added or anything that I felt the story was lacking. I simply don't like to let characters I enjoy go. That is my failing not Claire Kingsley's - so I guess really it isn't a negative point at all, just a reflection on how much I enjoyed reading about the Lawson siblings. I would recommend any of their stories to readers who like Romance and a HEA.

    All of the book boyfriend series with the Lawson family are a great read and this one to finish the series was just as sweet and endearing as the others. Caleb deserved someone amazing and thankfully he got Linnea. He is a wonderful dad to Charlotte.

    Charlotte is very cute and she and Noah are gorgeous together. Linnea was lovely and such a great fit for Caleb and Charlotte.

    Love seeing all the Lawson’s again.
