Kate Blakemore is a mum of three, who is a counsellor with specialism in infant loss and birth trauma. Kate has had her private counselling practice since 2012 and has a diploma in Specialist Fertility Counselling.

Kate is also the founder and Chief Executive of the charity Motherwell Cheshire, a Women and Girls Charity which was founded in 2015.

Inspirational and thoughtful - a must for mums and those thinking about becoming one!
I absolutely devoured this book - it's a honest and thought provoking look at motherhood in all its stages. This would make an ideal gift for a mum-to-be or any mum in the trenches of day-to-day parenting. The stories in it are touching and honest, it feels like a real and raw look at life as a mum - without being negative or ungrateful for the experience, which is a hard balance to find.I often find that writing about motherhood makes it sound like either the most amazing joy you can experience and a constant happiness, or hell on earth that you wouldn't wish on anyone with no in-between, a lot of what I read before having a baby made me terrified. This is relatable and truthful, it is pitched at just the right level.I highly recommend!
