Finally I could make my soundbar run 5.1 channel audio with my firetv stick as my old tv doesn't support 5.1 output.
This product is a genius and works well.
The instruction manual inside it is not accurate because it's of something else, but anyway..ensure you've an extra HDMI and Optical cable if you plan to use this.
Also Also, no HDMI CEC. So the external HDMI device can no longer control your TV from HDMI (such as waking up from sleep, switch inputs, etc.) (which is fine to most extent, you can just use your normal TV remote).
also good thing is that it outputs the audio in HDMI as well as the optical simultanesouly.
lol because of that now I usually sit with 4 remotes (Fire TV, Speaker, TV, Setup box) It's funny.
