We had a good, loving upbringing and couldn't ask for better parents. Yes, we had hard times like most families on our street in the '60s. We didn't have everything we wanted, but our parents always made sure we had what we wanted for Christmas, and they made sure we went on holidays, even if it was just strawberry picking, all of us ending up with green bottoms from dock leaves. They made sure we were all treated the same; they wouldn't give to one without the other. What you are about to read is how one sibling destroyed a loving family. And being cheated out of a joint will, we were cheated out of 80,000+ each, through a jealous, lying, bitter, twisted sibling. I received a pittance of what I should have had, and the other sibling received nothing. But what I received has enabled us to fund this book of a true story. It has been a war, not a battle, over the past three years.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 August 2024I have known this couple for over 40 years when myself was 17 years old had a child with my partner to date . In my opinion they are good people. In the earlier days we wasn’t so fortunate with no money ect . They use to feed myself and family most weeks they were kind and considerate I remember Stella in the book use to spend a lot of money on her nieces and nephews for Xmas and she always visited her mum and Dad so much that when I knocked her door I felt disappointed . They treated my son like their own and treated me like a daughter I will never forget these people who helped out a venerable family . In my opinion there is 2 sides to every story and this book has upset my family
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2024A sad tale of how a normal happy family were ruined by the actions of one manipulative & emotionally cruel sibling. So sad to hear how the parents and younger siblings were treated by her.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 June 2024Brought back real good memories . Fantastic book .

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 September 2024Well I give this book 5 ⭐️
As the saying is the truth hurts & as for spending lots of £ @ Xmas for nieces & nephews 🤣 don’t know how that can be justified from charity shops !!!
Yes there is to sides to every story but this case there’s only 1 from the authors point of view.
And as you say you have known these people for forty years this just shows how people change through jealousy & deceit!
This is so sad with what happened……
£ is a great evil !!!
