Bad Bridesmaid: An uplifting and laugh out loud romantic comedy! Kindle Edition
‘My wedding is ruined and my marriage is going to fail. And it’s all your fault!'
LA romcom writer Mia Valentina has it all; money, success, a tanned and toned body, golden blonde hair and a string of sexy lovers. She’s almost forgotten her previous self: plain old Mia Harrison. Until a wedding invitation arrives requesting (demanding!) her presence as chief bridesmaid at her younger sister Belle’s upcoming nuptials.
Mia’s barely been back in England before she’s accidentally injured the groom, unintentionally ‘cursed’ the wedding and been caught in a compromising position with her sister’s soon to be brother-in-law!
With the wedding of the year going dangerously off the rails, Mia has no time to waste – especially with sexy fireman and best man Leo on hand to help… Will she use all of her expert romance knowledge to save the day or will she just walk away? No one ever said a bad girl had to turn good…

5.0 out of 5 stars That should be made into a movie
I think this one was grand. So grand it should be adapted into a screenplay. It was crazy zany and pull your hair out downright frustrating at times, but it did make me laugh. This was worthy of being called a RomCom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most of the book I was glad I wasn't in Mia's shoes but I still found it a fun read
Mia is someone who doesn't do commitment and doesn't believe she will ever get married. It doesn't stop her from being hurt when she gets home for her sister's wedding and finds out that her parents have used her half of her parent's wedding fund on her sister Belle. Things don't get any better for her as nobody seems happy to see her at the wedding that she was begged to be in nor are they impressed at all by the success she has found in Hollywood as a screenwriter. As the days continue to unfold she continues to face more and more hostility for the mistakes she has made that are real and even imaginary. Belle accuses her of trying to ruin her wedding and Mia just wants to get through the next few days and then she can go back home. But what she doesn't realize is that she might have found love when she least expected with best man Leo. Can Mia get through the wedding without permanently getting disowned by her family?

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
This book was a great read. It was easy to become emotionally invested in the main character. She was easy to love despite her bad behaviors, and even more so as I turned the pages. Her family as easy to hate and that made me feel more justified in pulling for her, even though I'd cringe at her choices and outlook. I could clearly see her motivations and believe in them. In addition, this books was painfully hilarious, much like a Sophie Kinsella novel. However, I only give it four stars because the ending was over simplified and did not do justice to the emotionally complicated relationships developed throughout the book. I understand there could be irony at work here, but even so, this character was not entirely at fault for mishaps and bad blood between family and I did not see this justly resolved. I mean, I hated her family and I never got to see her stand up for herself. Nevertheless, I hope to read more from this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarity and good storytelling
All around a delight, with a fun if slightly damaged heroine, kooky but mostly believable situations, and a few profound truths.

3.0 out of 5 stars Three Stars
Good for a laugh. Horrible family. Should have been called Bad Family.
