Good sized bag that's easy to carry
My bag arrived in good condition.I filled out the bag with the Amazon packaging in order to test it's overall size.I'd say the dimensions are 39x23x20, but that's fine for me, and is under the Ryanair limits.My 15" Dell laptop fitted in, down the side (rather than on the bottom) which will work for me, but there is almost no padding, so I might need to buy a separate sleeve for it.The fabric handles feel sturdy and, although I've not put lots of weight in it, feel comfortable to use.I wouldn't want to put "chunky" shoes in there, as the space will be tight, so I'd have to wear my bigger shoes for traveling and take the lighter ones inside the bag.The lock feels useless, and I wouldn't trust the side pocket for anything valuable, but I'm not planning on leaving the bag anywhere for any length of time.I think it's ideal for what I need it for, and at least as good as some school bags I've bought for the kids, but I'll have to see how it wears

    It is very light. I have used one extensively on dozens of international flights. Because it is compact and unobtrusive I have never been challenged for excess luggage or asked to weigh it, including when used as a second personal item in addition to my main carry on which is how I mostly use it.

    It goes under the seat in front without a problem. The main compartment zip has loops for a padlock.

    The shoulder belt has a rectangular metal loop at one end to fasten it to the bag. This is a mistake, because it twists around and looks a mess. A D-shaped loop would work better.

    The front external pocket is a good size for passport and wallet, but sadly there are no internal pockets.

    I have never had a problem with the zips, strap, or bag material, but the material inside the front pocket eventually tears and comes away. I used one for around 80 hours in the air over 30+ flights before the inner pocket became useless and the bag went in the bin. I think that's a decent amount of use for the cost and I bought another because although it is flawed, any alternatives I've tried aren't as good.
