- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2022This is a very informative resource book for anyone interested in the often overlooked but important spiritual history of Caithness and the Far North. It is mainly intended to be used in conjunction with the Guidebook to the Northern Pilgrims' Way, which reinstates and follows the ancient pilgrimage routes from Tain to Kirkwall. It is also useful in giving a deeper understanding of ancient sites listed on the Northern Saints' Trails, which begin and end in Thurso or Wick. It is also a fascinating book to dip into for anyone with an interest in the history of Caithness. Highly recommended.
